eCos on Xilinx ML403

This directory contains hints and support files for getting the real-time operating system eCos (http://ecos.sourceware.org) running on the Xilinx ML403 evaluation board (http://www.xilinx.com/ml403/).

These files are provided without any guarantee that they will work or leave your hard- or software intact. Use them at your own risk.

    •    ecos-ML403-miniHOWTO.txt: mini HOWTO with details for patching eCos
    •    ecos-anoncvs_20060628.tar.bz2: snapshot of the eCos anonymous CVS repository from 28th June 2006
    •    ecos-ml403.patch: the first checked version of the patch, works against CVS from May 4th 2006
    •    ecos-ml403_20060628.patch: quick patch against the eCos anonymous CVS repository from 28th June 2006
    •    ml403_emb_ref_ppc_81.zip: Xilinx EDK reference design (mirrored)
    •    xparameters_translation.h: support header file (see HOWTO)

NOTE: Be careful when changing the address map of the Xilinx ML403 reference design, because some elements (e.g. hal/powerpc/virtex4/src/gpio_basic.c and char_lcd_support.c) use hard-coded base addresses.
